Our Rooms
We offer three beautiful bedrooms (Luskentyre, Scarista and Borve). All bedrooms have their own allocated parking space, their own luxurious en-suite, a welcome tray, high speed Wi-fi and TV with freesat for your entertainment. We provide great customer service and a hearty cooked breakfast to start your day. We will always be here to meet and greet you in person. There is a large mature garden with magnificent views over the islands North Harbour and Harris hills for you to enjoy. We provide a relaxed and comfortable environment, we even provide you with slippers for your added comfort.
Pricing 2025
Prices are per room per night:
- Luskentyre and Scarista are superior larger rooms with harbour views: £170pn for 2+ nights (£190 for one night)
- Borve is a standard room with a garden view: £160pn for 2+ nights (£190 for one night)
Maximum occupancy per room is two adults (we deduct £10 per night for single occupancy). A full cooked breakfast is included, and we accept bank transfer or card payment (via Paypal). Proceed to booking request
Faqs
- All rooms are up one flight of stairs, have en-suite with mains pressure shower and a television with freesat channels.
- Check-in after 4.30pm, check-out by 10am
- A deposit of 25% is required on booking, with the balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival
- Each room has its own parking space at the front of the guest house
- Sorry, we are unable to accommodate pets or children (under the age of 14)
- Scalpay is connected to Harris by bridge and is 7 miles drive from Tarbert (ferry port)
- We are a fully licenced guest house (STL: ES01347F) required by Scottish Government Law and issued by Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar Council.

Luskentyre Room
This super-sized dedicated twin-room has a desk and sofa and guest Wi-Fi. There is a television with freesat channels for your entertainment. Relax and enjoy the view over the North harbour and Harris hills from one side and the mature garden and South harbour from the other. £170 per room per night (for a 2+ night stay) or £190 for one night. Ensuite Shower Room
Our Luskentyre Room has an ensuite shower room with a mains pressure shower,
supersized sink, heated towel rail, lighted mirror and fluffy white towels
to maximise your comfort after a day exploring the wonderful sites of Harris and Lewis.
Scarista Room
Large and bright with superb elevated views over the harbour and North Harris hills, this room has a Superking, and an extra large ensuite shower room with a mains pressure shower. Tastefully decorated with local artwork, our room provides a warm and inviting atmosphere. £170 per room per night (2+ night stay) or £190 for one night. Proceed to booking request

Revitalize in Scarista's spacious ensuite Shower Room. Designed with your comfort in mind, this beautifully appointed space
is the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring.
Borve Room
Our Standard double is still larger than most and has a comfortable Superking. The view is over the guest house mature garden towards the South Harbour. £160 per room per night (for 2+ night stay) or £190 for one night. Proceed to booking request
